Transparent Iron Oxide Pigment
Property: When pigment particles disperse in the medium, the diameter is smaller than the half wavelength of the light, then diffraction happens with an effect of transparence. Transparent iron oxide pigment, with particle diameter of nano-meter-level, possesses very good chemical stability for maintaining the chemical structure and crystal form of the iron oxide pigment, and other property such as acid, alkali, solvent, water and oil resistance. Transparent iron oxide red has the heat stability even more than 300℃. Moreover, it has stronger ability of assimilating the ultraviolet, because of which, transparent iron oxide pigment can also improve the ageing-resistance ability of all kinds of high polymer. Transparent iron oxide also has better assimilating and scattering property of the visible light than normal iron oxide pigment, so it has high saturation and tinting strength.
Application: Wood coatings, automobile coatings, plastic coatings, metal coatings, architectural coatings, artists’ color, etc.
